Exactly. Its a pet peeve of mine when a saying becomes "trendy" and then everyone starts to say it as if to let everyone know "im part of the gang guy".

Like that Brandon shite. I still don't know what it means. I know it has something to do with Biden, but it just seems like another one of those things people say to let people know "they are down".

And I am not just talking about people on the right. It sucks just as bad when people on the left does this stupid shite. But at least there are people who sell tshirts and bumper stickers with all of this stupid shite to make money off of these people.

Then you have people who refuse to get a vaccine for the greater good log into Tigerdroppings to complain about it. That knife cuts both ways.

There is no such thing as the greater good. That's a phrase authoritarians use to try to force people to do something against their will.

No
You can move to areas that don’t have retarded vaccine passport requirements.
Pretty much all of the south.
I don’t need masks, proof of vaccines etc.

Correct.

We have never had a mandate before like this one.

You're lying.

If not, you wouldn't be in these threads defending mandates.

You do realize that there is no government mandate for the Covid vaccine, right?

Yet. Biden has been rather clear that he will do whatever it takes to ram through a nation-wide mandate.

PATCO was in violation of the law. There is no vaccine law.

Technically, they called in sick to circumvent the law against striking.

The "law" they were violating was literally walking off the job, feigning illness to cover up the fact that it was a walk out.

Read the OP...where he is talking about pilots and air traffic controllers walking off the job in protest. They are violating the same law that PATCO violated in 1981...only doing it for a different reason.

Do you morons realize you're arguing for the equivalent of everyone having to wear a hard hat with arguments like this?

The talking points about other mandates you've picked up ignore the very obvious difference between safety mandates for high risk people and blanket mandates for everyone.

It makes no fricking sense to force a 30 year old who has had covid to get this vaccine, yet here you are talking about hard hat mandates for people most likely to have their skull crushed as if it's a reasonable analogy.

The law they violated was walking off the job. Air Traffic Controllers legally could not strike. Read the OP again where he is talking about pilots and air traffic controllers walking off the job. It's for a different reason, but it is violating the same law.

You could say the same thing about conservatives. Presidents from both parties have been abusing the power of their office my entire life. It's a byproduct of the legislative branch ceding more and more power to the executive branch.

because further dividing society for a measly arse pandemic like COVID seems like a good idea.

Excellent question.

Occupational Safety shouldn't be mandated by clothing/personal wear. Or should it? Pick your side and we can really debate that.

29 CFR 1910.132(d) requires a PPE Hazard Assessment be performed for General Industry sites. If a head hazard is determined, then you must require head protection.

29 CFR 1926.28(a) covers the PPE requirement for construction workers.

So...if there is an identified hazard, an appropriate control must be implemented.
