They are always busy when I went / tried to go there.

That's a shocker.

prices there have been steadily increasing for a while. When they use to have $2 tacos and $2 beers I’d go all the time.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the one in New Orleans closes as well. They’ve been boarded up since this all began and haven’t been doing pick up or curbside.

They also own The Red Dog Nextdoor which has also been closed.

Well, at least you'll be able to park when you go to Olive or Twist.

“Like most small businesses and many in the restaurant industry, the impact of (the) COVID-19 pandemic has been devastating,” CEO and Co-Founder Michael Buchert said in a Facebook post. “We are incredibly grateful to our Baton Rouge staff for their service and thankful to all our customers for their patronage over the last 6 years. We have greatly enjoyed and will sincerely miss being part of the Baton Rouge community. May we all find the strength and resolve needed to make it through these challenging times. Stay safe Baton Rouge. Geaux Tigers.”

This isn’t China’s fault anymore.

It was at the start, but now it is self-inflicted.

Thanks US citizens and politicians.

Interesting to see what replaces that spot on Perkins road. I can’t see that property being cheap to rent.

There is nothing slow about this destruction. It's fast and devastating.

The cure is worse than the disease. Tanking the economy didn’t help—it only made things worse on top of a bad situation.

Interested to see what voting looks like this fall for the election. I feel a lot of people, liberal, moderates and conservatives, that are disgusted and disillusioned by government.
