Location wise, it;s unbeatable. It's also relatively easy to park there and everything is within walking distance from everything else. They have a great Barnes and Noble that I have always been able to find anything I have wanted. But, they need more restaurants. Most of the stores seem to be geared towards women. WHat about a sporting goods store? Just imagine how a place like The Backpacker would do there -- business standpoint, strictly speaking. The movie theater was a mistake no matter how much income it drives...this place was built for families and middle-upper class shoppers. The movie theater does nothing good for the place and is a dumping ground for kids whose parents want to get rid of them for a bit. It's safer than Mall of LA, but eventually Mall of LA it will become.

I've never noticed a teenage problem in PR. I do think the restaurants do better than the retail (especially non-clothing) for the most part. I'm not sure how many couches Z Gallerie needs to sell to pay the bills but I don't see many inquiring customers in there. La Madeleine, Texas de Brazil, Bin 77, Lava Cantina, Kona, and CPK all pull a steady crowd of people with disposable income though.

ITT - Ascension and Livingston frick sticks who wear LSU gear in an airport on Tuesday on the way to Branson. I live in Magnolia Woods and PR is fine. Stay away. There's a daquiri shop near you 2x4.

Place is a lot better than most of BR. Been there twice in the last week. Orvis is a nice addition to the list of exceptional places to visit in PR.

We live close and go to PR at least once a week. We like the Thurs evening bands and have dinner before or during. Movie theater is nice and last weekend's Art Fair was terrific. Spinosa is a douche but out of the picture now and once it's sold, it'll be built out and the hotel will be added. Wish it was bigger and more bars, but that will come after an investor convinces new tenants they're in it for the long haul. Love PR.

PR is doing great these days. It's location is prime real estate. It's located next to the most wanted neighborhood in BR right now for RWF.

I'll explain. You're post is seemingly about Perkins Rowe, yet your opinion of it is based on outdated information. Perkins Rowe is under new ownership and new management. New retail has moved into spaces previously unoccupied. Unfinished condos are being completed. Occupancy rates remain high. Really unsure what would make you think it isn't doing well. When the current owners sell, if they get out before a market crash, they will make a very good profit on it.
To summarize, you are about 3-5 years late on criticizing Perkins Rowe. Suggesting any part of it is a failure is laughable, other than maybe the pool.

Condo/apartment developments that are not within walking distance of major job centers or universities are prone to rapid declines once their new car smell wears off.

When PR was being built I use to work with my brother who is a sub contractor part time when I was not in class. We were talking about this the other day, Spinosa still owes him a bunch of money for services that he'll never see. I know of a few people that sued over this but not sure if they ever saw the first penny.

I like the theater because they usually show smaller low budget flicks that you can't see at the Rave. I think the last two Woody Allen movies I saw was at PR, me and the lady were pretty much the only ones in the theater which is nice.

Perkins rowe is always packed from what I've seen in the last year and half. Seems to be doing really well.
