There was a controversy at the uptown JCC nursery school over one of the teachers signing “10 little monkeys jumping on the bed” with 3 year olds. One of the parents reported it as racist, rather than a counting game with a silly premise. There is no evidence that the game is racist. No 3 y/o would think the game is racist. This parent made the game racist for no reason then put it on the administration to deal with the fall out.

Are jingle bells the reason we have hushpuppies? I heard the story was the women cooking in the kitchen would make the little balls from left over cornmeal etc and sneak them out so at night they could give them to the dogs to keep them quit while escaping. So I guess hushpuppies at seafood restaurants are racist?
