That’s not often used as it once was. I work with older adults, some of whom have severe autism or intellectual disability.
Intellectual disability is now the proper term and with varying severity along with how ASD is now classified.
Where it gets really tricky is that the individuals with severe ID can also have severe ASD and vice versa

It appears the entire point of this thread went right over your head, retard.

We need to bring the term “mongoloid” back in style.

One thing neither of us suffer from is a sense of oppression because we want to use words that other people find offensive. We are not crippled by a burning, all consuming desire to say words and offend people. Gay, woke, whatever but the mental illness involved in the all consuming desire and angst over one's self imposed inability to utter a word is far more detrimental....its truly sad that y'all are scared

Saying “the r-word” is fricking retarded.

Your coping mechanism for being a weak man who couldn’t prevent his kids from turning woke is an interesting peak into the human pyshe. But obviously, you didn’t influence your kids on how or what to think. It is a mere coincidence that you are an avowed atheist and your kids followed suit. No influence at all.
In reality, you inserted your woke worldview , whether intentionally or not, onto your kids during their formative years. You can make yourself believe that you didn’t. That’s a normal and common self-validation trait of weak men. But you aren’t fooling anymore with your self righteous bull shite.

I went over to the tiger rant to see how the LSU baseball game ended. “Retarded” is the only word worthy of what I saw

It is a parents job to teach their kids how to be a productive member of society and to instill in their children the values they hold themselves. It is not a coincidence that my wife and I are indeed atheists and so are our children...that is the job of a parent. It was not done in a vacuum, it was by design. There was plenty of influence from the other side....we allowed my mother in law to take them to church with her, she took them to vacation bible summer camps, and of course it is not possible to live in the United States without some believer insisting on trying to sale you some real estate in heaven when you die so there were ample instances of them being exposed to religion and Christianity in particular. They chose logic over fantasy. I would posit that we allowed far more Christian influence into the lives of our children than 99.9% of Christians would allow atheists to influence their children. We did so because we were certain, beyond a doubt, that unless they were brain damaged if they were exposed to both sides of the idea they would lean toward logic as any sane individual with the ability to reason will do......
As far as a woke worldview you are again once again 100% correct....we did indeed teach our children that their lives were theirs and no one else's and the same was true of others. They have no right to determine how someone should live and no one has a right to do so for them...and that is what being un woke means, dictating to others how they should conduct their lives....that is the basis of the backlash toward the woke...when one of you sleeping frickers says or does something that is reprehensible someone calls you out for it for the first time in the history of human history and y'all liked it better when you could say or do whatever fancied you and no one dared say a word about. Here is the thing...you can still say and do reprehensible shite....you just can't do it with the assurance that everyone around you will keep quite or agree....and yall are too damned timid to speak your mind unless you have assurances that the majority of people around you will either stay quite or support your twisted ideas....that is less likely to be the case today and somehow y'all or feeling oppressed by it, bless your hearts.....

Again, thank you for the kind words...yes, I am weak in my ability to force my POV down the throats of others and fully intend to allow them to come to their own conclusion as I want others to do with me....I get it that forcing your world view on others is seen as strong, manly attributes to the intellectually stunted among us and I am sorry you suffer from that sort of affiliction...maybe you will heal with some maturation

It’s confirmed. You support child abusers because as you say, you have no right to determine how they should live.

Imagine thinking calling your boy a fig when he gets melted in Call of Duty is this serious. Yikes!

I would posit that this would depend on the relationship you had with the boy. If this is something the two of you would do when fricking with one another I wouldn't think it would be an issue. On the other hand if the boy had never heard it before and while playing a game and failing you called him a fig it would probably be pretty demoralizing for him. If he was indeed a homosexual it would be even more so depending on where he was in telling you as his dad. If it were someone else's kid and you did it you would be seriously out of line unless of course you also have that kind of relationship with that kid and probably his dad. There is nothing wrong with what you are describing if it is the kind of relationship you have with your kid....it actually sounds like a good relationship. Now when he goes out and does it in public you are going to get the stink eye from other people but again what the frick do you care? If you do care that's on you, not them. What we say and do around our families is a far cry from the way we speak and interact with others, that is simply a societal nicety that most decent folks observe.
A good example of what you are describing happened a couple of years ago when my son and I were running some errands and I went through a drive through window for donuts to take to work the next day. When we got to the window the 2 employees weighed about 1200 pounds. As we drove away I said "Damn, talk about the foxes being in charge of the hen house". We nearly ran the truck off the road laughing. It was a great moment for us, it would have been incredibly tacky and simply mean spirited to have said it to the 2 employees. That is a huge difference. I would not intentionally hurt another person saying something like that to them, I, like most people, enjoy a good off color remark amongst friends. Like most people we have mean spirited thoughts from time to time....giving voice to them at inappropriate times is just wrong....but if you are hell bent on doing it do it....most likely all you will get is the stink eye.
Again, I am not a Christian so I try to treat people like I would like to be treated. I know y'all who claim to be believers also claim you are forgiven for being an a-hole....I get it, life is tough and whatever it takes to get you through your day I reckon is OK....

It isn't up to me as an individual. Society does indeed, right or wrong, judge people. If you stand on a street corner yelling racial epithets in this day and age most people are going to find you disgusting. What do you care? I think it is abusive to take a child to church and expose them to the fifth that is the bible until they are mature enough to realize it is the dark meanderings of a collective troubled mind. I do not think I have any right to keep others from mistreating their kids in that manner. I can have an opinion on the subject the same way some of you have about me....that opinion is only meaningful to the individual who holds it and if it causes you some discomfort that's on you, not me.
If I am on a jury society expects me to pass judgement and I would do so accordingly....but it is not up to me as an individual to judge and approve or condemn because my opinion is of no more importance than yours to anyone but me and you....
