There is absolutely NO science behind that, and proven from day 1 when Fauci and everyone were telling us they were of no use. That was until they became critical. It’s ALL bullshite. Social distancing and washing your hands and such, absolutely, but there’s no science that proves putting a glorified t-shirt over your mouth protects you or anyone else from Covid-19

The problem is the only mask that works is a N-95 without the air valve. You don’t see many people wearing them. The cute little mask made out of an old t shirt ain’t doing shite to stop spreading anything except your spit when you talk.

My doctor thinks differently, so does my family member who is a doctor as well. Funny enough, both have way more education than whatever nurse you married. They also run their own practices and are not beholden to a corporate monster controlling their knowledge base.

No. this is your political tribalism who is looking past the data i posted in the 3rd post in this thread. Look at the CDCs website on fatalities by age range. Look at the 2020 US census data. Link us to a study proving masking children has done anything to “protect” others. We’ll wait.
Your child is still significantly more likely to die of influenza, pneumonia, or RSV depending on their age. And we’ve never asked society to mask and our children to mask for those before have we? Now tell me, who’s politicized on the topic and lacking common sense? Hint: it’s you

I like how his premise is masking doesn't affect kids and yet he ignores the video I linked of a mask nazi traumatizing a kid.
What about the kid on the plane last week that was having an asthma attack and the family was kicked off the plane after it turned around?

Can you have her drop by and link us to the research that:
a) masking children is effective at stopping the transmission of COVID
b) COVID-19 is more fatal than other communicable diseases children have passed for decades: pneumonia, influenza, RSV, etc
BTW- since January of 2020 over 800 US children under 17 have died of pneumonia. Is 800 > 400?
