Have they ever owned anything in their lives not bought from a store?

Someone needs to beat them badly enough to send them to the hospital and say "So? You have insurance."

It's mostly people who have never owned property.

It’s ridiculous.

I hope they say that to hourly workers too and lecture them when the workers can’t go to work and have no insurance to pay for their lost jobs.

Though I’m sure they would point them to the government handout line and then wax stupid about the positives of socialism.

These are the same people that when they sue you in a car accident when they aren't actually injured say "I'm not suing you, i'm suing your insurance".

I say don't defend, let insurance pay, and rebuild somewhere else, never to be built again in that community. Let those who destroy their own communities FEEL the effects of them destroying their own community.

I was thinking..

How many people you think are out of a job because their business was destroyed and won't come back? Target Autozone. They hired from the community.

Though I think a white cop started the auto one looting

40% of businesses never reopen after a fire/disaster.
25% more will fail in the year following a fire/disaster.
That is why business owners will defend their property.

The people saying things are insured have no idea how any of this works. They've been nothing but low-level workers their entire lives and can't even run their own personal finances, much less grasp business finances.

Let's make this argument: Say a business is looted and never reopens. Those employees will lose their health benefits. What if one of those employees has chest pain a week later and is hesitant to go to the ER because they don't have health insurance and then dies? Who is responsible for that death? The looters.

That probably isnt true. There are eye witnesses to that guy's whereabouts at the time of the video.

That's incorrect.

They are covered. But a deductible could be $25k or $50k. That is straight off the bottom line. And has been said, it doesn't prevent a second vandal/arson attempt.

How sickening would it be to dump $50k unnecessarily into a property downtown that could be targeted again a year later.

They clearly aren’t small business owners either.

Are essentially promoting thug life. You are training criminals to destroy and steal because it's just another free shite promotion without consequences.
Now compare that with the real chance of getting blown away if you break into someone's store or home and you tell me which procedure is going to promote less criminal behavior?

Same shite with the CEO from Target apparently saying is just a building that can be rebuilt. for every Targert that can afford to rebuild and pay workers who aren't working there are 10x more mom and pops who cant, and 10x more employees who are out of a job.

Sure they can rebuild, assuming their insurance covers riots, which most business policies don't.

If they are covered, guess what happens to their premiums, they go way up.

The premiums become offset by passing the cost off to the consumer. Of course the soy boy rioters living in mom's basement have never had to concern themselves with stuff like that, rather only if they have the newest Fortnite skins or how many pizza rolls are left in the freezer.
