There is a former Iowa State QB who has a restaurant that was vandalized the other night in protests. He said the same thing.
There is likely going to be a lot of pissed off people when they find out they have a high deductible or no coverage for vandals.
The American taxpayer better get mentally prepared for a massive bailout for repairs...

Sure they can rebuild, assuming their insurance covers riots, which most business policies don't.
It is literally one of the 17 basic coverages on a property policy.
If you don't have this coverage, your business isnt within 5 miles of a fire station and traditional insurance is not readily available.
Or the business owner asked not for what is standard coverage but the cheapest policy in the barrel.

I know people are using the Floyd death, but this whole thing seems like its roots are in a large group of people that hate on successful people, especially Antifa. These are people who don't own a damn thing.

Agree. It has a marxist feel to it.
Especially when SJW allies get damaged by the BLM machine.

most policies do not cover damages caused by riots.......
I’m in the insurance industry and this is wrong.
There is civil unrest exclusionary language, but only pertaining to acts of war or terrorism, which I believe need to be declared by Congress.

most policies have exclusions for terrorism, acts of governments domestic & foreign, etc.

Let's make this argument: Say a business is looted and never reopens. Those employees will lose their health benefits. What if one of those employees has chest pain a week later and is hesitant to go to the ER because they don't have health insurance and then dies? Who is responsible for that death? The looters.
Except the people you are arguing with think healthcare should be provided already by the govt and not linked to jobs. They aren't going to see the looters at fault when to them, it's the govt fault that we don't have universal healthcare to begin with

More caucasians on medicaid than african americans. That does not make them bad people....so, most trumpers vote against their own interests without any thought.....
