Perhaps delete the OP, type Koo Koo Kachoo, and try to save some face

Oh, I know you'll find overlap on here. This place is filled with hypocrits; I thought you just meant in general.

Like others on this thread have noted, I think there was probably some significant overlap for those who cheered both.

With that said, if you want to paint with a hypocrisy brush, I would say people utterly gleeful about RBG's death melting about people being utterly gleeful about Kirk's death, and vice versa, are hypocrites of the highest order.

As I said in another thread, I'm so, so fricking tired of people celebrating death.

How long did you think this sonic boom of a gotcha up before posting it?

Now I’m not going to research every poster’s political viewpoint, but just based on percentages, there is a good deal of overlap

a) this statement seems to contradict itself

b) Maybe consider doing a little research before you start a thread and just start painting in broad strokes.

I’m not following.

The exact same people that celebrated Heath Care CEO are celebrating the death of Kirk.

I see zero cross over.

Sad as the OP maybe, it’s alarming 4 other people agree with him.

He was a Christian. He was a Conservative. He was a husband. He was a father. In other words, not unlike a lot of American men … on this site and beyond. How’s that?

United's business practices made the CEO an unsympathetic figure. Not saying vigilantism was justified, only that perverse satisfaction is understandable when a lot of people endured unnecessary suffering.

Kirk was murdered simply for dissent. That's an attack on civil society and anyone who condones it is projecting when they call others Nazis.

Comparing Kirk to the UHC CEO is a disservice to Kirk.

Typical Lib distorting facts and accusing us of the same thing Libs have been doing for years.

And just to save us a back and forth: is it your position that it would be less awful and ghoulish if the left were celebrating Kirk's death after having a massive aneurysm on stage instead of being shot? I certainly wouldn't be inclined to give them that pass.
