The best book I've ever read "Disciplines of a Godly Man" has the best analogy of parenting to follow. The author states that raising a child is like holding a wet bar of soap... squeeze to tightly and the soap shoots out...hold it to loosely and you'll drop it. A firm but gentle grip is required and the same goes for children.

As a parent, I give you full authority to say whatever you want to these lazy arse parents. Parents use to bitch at me when I was childless for giving them shite, now that I am a parent, I see that I was right, they are lazy. You can't fix the crazy ones though that live through their kids, no hope for them, at least the lazy ones just need to put a little more work in.

I laugh at the thought that somehow public schools will teach a child to become an adult. The entire system was created to extend the length of childhood and create obedient servile workers. Congrats to the feds. Their system has worked flawlessly.
