I don't why it surprises me, it shouldn't have considering how we use social media for everything, but it was a little surprising to me to see how involved parents were in their college kids.

If I had some type of problem with a professor/instructor I couldn't imagine my parents going talk to them instead of me trying to work it out.

But I think you are right, to some degree these parents are trying to live the lives their kids are living. It just seems like they are doing them no favors.

Social media isn’t just ruining kids, it has ruined a few older parents as well.. the ‘take my ball and go home’ generation that everyone currently bitches about was created by the same age group that can’t stand them 

2. All you guys that are raising their daughters like little ‘princesses’ are ruining them.. in a few years, when they are selfish spoiled little brats, and can’t find themselves a stable relationship because they are too self centered and too arrogant to become good wives, you’ll only have yourselves to blame
