Has Woody Harrelson’s dad allegedly being one of the bums they marched into the police station been discussed? Ended up going to prison for a contract killing on a federal judge IIRC

Couple years later Jack Ruby is dead from complications from metastatic cancer...Did Ruby know he had cancer in late 1963? He had nothing to lose if that's the case.

I don't know why he would want to spend the last few years of his life in prison. Maybe someone made him do it or maybe he thought he would be a national hero

Well when you consider it was either take out the "nut" or a meathook or something then its pretty apparent. Not to mention the mafia (particularly Chicago got JFK elected in the first place and NY and other Big Bosses went along with it on the strength of his father and they thought they would get their interest in Cuba back (which ended in a debacle). But with Bobby literally kidnapping Carlos Marcello and leaving him in South America it's not a hard stretch to see why they would have ample motive. Not to mention the boss of Dallas was Joe Civello who was a cousin of Marcello's and actually born in West Baton Rouge Parish so that's also not a stretch either, considering he was basically put in place in Dallas as a proxy leader for New Orleans at the time.
Edit: and Jack Ruby ran nightclubs for the Chicago Outfit and Marcello in interests they shared in Dallas and the Midwest which is also rather suspicious as well.

I’m just giving you a hard time, all in good fun. So many people swear to so much stuff, its hard to keep track. Do I believe it, no way in hell. Do I believe they THNIK they saw that?, sure they probably do. Memory and recollection, especially of eyewitness things, is notoriously poor in most people. Cheers

An even better ‘WHAT IF”. Is what if Kennedy just used the glass top on the limo the Secret Service wanted him to use, OR they didn’t re route the parade to the route by the TSBD like they did. Even more simple and blows up an alleged MASSIVE conspiracy.

Has anyone read the book about Dorothy Kilgallen that came out a few years ago? It claims Marcello wanted her eliminated because she was writing a book about the assassination, and he believed she was about to uncover a conspiracy.
She met with Ruby in prison a couple of times, and made a trip to New Orleans for what she allegedly said was "cloak and dagger stuff". A second trip to New Orleans was planned to meet an unknown source, but she was found dead before it happened. The file with all her research was never found.
