My theory has always been that Oswald was working with Cuba and he was convinced to assassinate Kennedy. I thought it just made sense considering the attempts made to assassinate Castro.
But it seems like it was an inside job.

Yeah, yeah. That’s the ticket! My ah, Uncle’s, cousin’s, brother’s, nephew’s neighbor worked at Baskin Robbins and heard that RFK hired Oswald to do it while he was working one day. LBJ was there too with Castro and they ordered a ice cream sundae which proves it was a conspiracy!!! Duhhh!

One fact I've never heard an explaination for is how there was far more bullet grainage in John Connally's body (proven by x-rays) than there was missing off the Magic Bullet.

Here's a What IF? that is never discussed and is interesting as hell....What If Oswald..or whoever..had MISSED?
Kennedy's limo speeds away...whoever tried to take him out be it Oswald or whoever fails. Bobby Kennedy would have been relentless in finding out who went after Jack. Would we have a Deep State today? I believe we'd have answers to a lot of questions we still have, because RFK would have gotten the sons of bitches.
Would we have gotten into Vietnam the way we did? So many What Ifs?

It is just hard for me to see why Ruby would throw away his life to kill him. Unless he had to or was forced to. Oswald was going to get the death penalty regardless. And just the continued the secrecy surrounding the investigation.
Maybe he did act alone but there has to be more to it.

Also, why pass up the much easier shot 30 seconds earlier? Unless you were trying to catch him in the crossfire.

The question is moot, because Ruby’s timeline that day is well known, had he spent just a few minutes longer on has errands that day Oswald would have already been gone, had Oswald been moved on time he would have been transferred before Ruby arrived. there is no other explanation other than him killing Oswald was totally unplanned/ spontaneous.
