Meanwhile in the hell adjacent South

It's fine though. The good people of Buffalo can return the envy in January when it's 55 here while they're digging out of 5 feet of snow.

104 yesterday in Baton Rouge. That’s 4 days straight 100+ with the possibility of making it 10

People in BR said that the other day. They got it in the form of a microburst that fricked over power in the area.

Don't lump all the South into that, baw. Here in North AL we dropped down to 63° last night.

That's good for the third and fourth lowest temps for the day on record at the two closest stations to me.

It was incredibly nice this morning when I went on my run. Barely broke a sweat.

A 64 degree morning would be like heaven for us here in LA.

I asked my bosses a couple of weeks ago to send me out west because I was spending entirely too much time east of i-65 lately. Big mistake. Was sent directly to Phoenix when the highs were touching 120F and spent two weeks in the desert. Woke up at 2am in N Las Vegas and it was still 100F outside and it felt like standing in front of a hair dryer because of the wind. Worst heat I've ever felt.

I’m headed to Scotland next week for the rest of August.

The default weather will be Highs in the low 60°Fs, Lows in the 40°Fs and light rain.

I feel like it’s been trying to rain all day, just not happening.

Nope. I don’t believe it. The ice caps are melting and ecosystems are dying.
