more than 25% of the student body of the University of Arkansas hails from Texas.
University of Arkansas has some low admission standards. I suspect they are getting kids from East Texas who didn’t make the cut at UT or A&M.

It has more to do with how the UT system handles admissions and Arkansas’s willingness to give students from all 6 bordering states in-state tuition.

NWA will be red for quite a while.

NWA is awesome but I wouldn't want to live there if it became as congested as Austin.

So a significant number of Texas high school students are choosing Old Main over UT and A&M?

Would be afraid that the area is on its way to being an Austin though from that article.

No. Texas has a frick ton of high school kids and they can’t all go to UT-Austin; especially with some of the Texas state laws on admissions.
So a lot of students chose Old Main over UT-BFE

My boss recently moved from Portland, OR to Bella Vista, AR. Loves it.

It’s odd because far East Austin, out by the toll road and race track, and new Tesla plant seems to have miles and miles of land ready for new homes. You’d think it’d be the next Frisco out there. Maybe it’s coming.

Please move to R-Kansas and stay out of Tx and New Orleans.

I tell everyone that I know from Austin that NW Arkansas is the place they ought be and offer to pay part of their moving expenses. Hope it works.

My best experiences in Fayetteville were (in order): a wings place with an extensive Jell-O shot menu, an ice bar where you could shoot liquor and slam the shot glass made of ice on the ground, and the whores.
