I'm not saying you are wrong, but is there anything online that summarizes this with facts? I don't want to do the research.

ETA: And, define "old"? What year we talking?

Meh.

Lot of stupid stuff on a car-based mommy mobile/rental car/ fleet vehicle.

Tow hooks??? Yall off roading that across the mall parking lot?

Z71 for what???

Floating roof? Wtf every car has these and they're all silly.

Fun Fact: not every car has to look like a Four-Runner.

edit: dont forget those fake bead-lock wheels. GTFO out of here. Most people that buy those wont even know what that is.

At one time we didn't need a bunch of dumb stuff to convince people their SUV was tufff.

The tow hooks are for when momma clips the curb and needs a tow.

I've driven 3 in my life. Great cars. That's my experience.

I had 3 wiring harnesses replaced (all work done by Gerry Lane) because of interior lights mysteriously blowing fuses, road stability system failures, not to mention multiple fuel pumps (among other things), and my monthly repair bills at 81,000 miles looked just like a car note. Thanks for asking.

ETA, I forgot all about the AC failures in July two years in a row. Yeah, I talked to a couple of other Trailblazer owners who had bad experiences too. So yeah, great cars!

Yikes, that's a good reason to never own another Chevy. What year?

Have you not paid any attention to car manufacturers in the last 10 years? All of their SUV's are just small/medium/large/XL versions of the same body style

Tow hooks are when the driver think since they have AWD they are invincible and then get stuck in snow or sand (like here in the FL panhandle).

I know i won't try to pull anyone really stuck in the sand here without a real tow point.... too easy to break other components.

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it, or something like that. I'll pass, thank you very much.

So is this car the same thing as a GMC terrain?

The new Acadia is tiny, but they charge the same price as the older version

GM is discontinuing their relationship with Apple CarPlay, that company could be on a downward spiral very soon

looks like they're trying to get in that pallisade and telluride game there.

my poor wife drives a 2009 traverse. it's a piece of crap, but it continues to drive and we have to put about $1k of maintenance a year on it, but it's a lot cheaper than a payment.

$39k is not terrible in today's age.
