the Goofy White Husband getting taken out on the gurney talking about how he shouldnt have tried to perform his own appendectomy or whatever, while his Much Smarter I Told You So Wife stands with her arms crossed shaking her head in the background. Street Smart Black Man and Wise Brown Woman guest star as EMTs.

i dont even know what it's advertising, but it annoys the frick out of me every time.

but that Progressive guy takes the cake.

He's pretty bad. I remember a Visa Commercial from a decade or more ago where the guy got dumped because he was boring. To show that he was not, he used to Visa to go to a museum, a cooking class, and an Alicia Keys concert. The commercial ends with the voiceover saying "Who's boring now?". I remember thinking ole boy didn't get dumped because he was boring.

Found it.

Never actually see him (her) but the kinda male sounding voice on the latest couple of Chic-fil-a commercials, especially the one about "the biscuit" is pretty un-masculine. He also sounds like he appears in the one about the pimento cheese chicken sandwich.

That would be Tom Brady in the new fake talk show Hertz commercial. I hate this commercial with every fiber of my being.

I told my wife I’d do the dishes for a year if the husband ever won one of those challenge review commercials.

On purpose.. He is a rare white male n a commercial these days. he has to be depicted as stupid, gay and or incompetent.

Most def 30-40 year old white ladies. They still write whitey commercials but cast blacks or Mexicans to play the part. Think it was a Lincoln commercial that has a demographic not known for camping and fly fishing…. Camping and fly fishing

Over the years, emasculation of males (particularly white) has been evident in TV commercials. At first we laughed at the absurdity and now we (almost) accept it.

Silly effeminate or not so bright men have been all over the web, movies, and TV ads and it didn't start just last year.

Cuckening of men

My vote goes to the poor henpecked husband in the original Jake from State Farm ad.
