Yeah. The more normal sounding black names like Jerome and Malcolm have long fallen out of fashion. And I’m not sure they ever would have made the top 10 in the first place since black people are only 12-13% of the population.
The newer, odder sounding black names aren’t going to make the list because there’s usually just one black person who holds each odd black name. I mean, those names are usually just made up by their mothers, and the odds that two different mothers would make up the exact same weird black name are pretty low.

Liam sounds like a kid with no testicles.

But it looks almost exactly like the most popular baby names of 1825.
I love traditional names so I am a big fan of most of that list. My two kids’ names are very traditional as well.
Better than anything ending with “ynne”.

Liam is an old Irish name.
That would have been the name of the Irish immigrant kid in the slums in a 19th century British novel. The other names in the top 10 would have been the names of the more prosperous British-born characters. (All right, I guess Mateo wouldn’t have been a character in the book. But that’s like the sole exception.)

My dad insisted I have his first name: Louis
I'm still pissed about that being my government name, while going by my middle name per mom's request.

None of my kids names are on those lists even though they have traditional names
Which is surprising since I have 100 kids
