The sound of a mother that has lost a child.
I had to hear it again today.
SIL passed away and the wife and I were tasked with delivering the news.

that kind of deep seeded grief is just terrible to witness...you are right, you never forget the sound of someone experiencing that.

Was on a flight LAS-ATL and a guy in first class with us found out his son died. Blood curdling howl the entire flight. I've never felt for someone as much as I did that day.

My grandparents outlived my dad. I'll never forget that moment watching them go through that.

Yep..lost a child last December, he was a week old..nothing will ever be able to remove the whaling of my wife holding our son after he had passed..first time to hold him since his birth and the last.
