It was listed for 19.5 in 2011 and now sold for 3.6 million. This house has 160 acres and 60,000 sq ft. Has dining room table that lifts up and spins so everyone has a view of the lake. Revolving garage floors, helicopter parking, 2 indoor pools. I've passed this house multiple times on my jetski. It's amazing. Hides behind tall hills from the road. The yard is like a golf course. Basically, the new owner paid 18,500 per acre (lake front) and got home for free in a very nice/pricey area.

Pics in link. The guy invented the drop ceiling. When the house was built, the plans were ripped up so no one could build a house like it. The owners died in a plane crash years ago

Why not just buy on San Andreas Fault Lane? Lomo Prieto should (among all the brilliant folks in Menlo Park) has as negative a feel to it.

That’s quite a compound. A steal for 3.6. And what’s a drop ceiling?

shite Louisiana has plenty of houses more expensive than that. That’s pathetic.

A type of ceiling used in homes and factories years ago to save on heat. It's a lower ceiling than the normal one. Still found in many today
