I’m friends with an older man who used to be paid by African govt to hunt lions and other game that attacked men. (Yes like spencer Dutton in 1923) His ancestors fought for confederacy. Dude has the coolest house ever with ivory handled colt pistols from the civil war, civil war sabers, daggers, muskets. He does really good paintings too I have some of his prints. He has all kinds of animals mounted, pelts, elephants tusks.
No telling what all that is worth. His whole house is basically a museum

Selling anything ivory has all sorts of thou-shall-not laws attached. Likewise pelts of endangered species. (Probably should contact sheiks and rulers of kingdoms. (other than Great Britain.)

Nice stuff. I’d like to have that world globe. We had one when I was a kid. I studied it while reading National Geographic and learned about the world.

The stuff the guy I know has was from decades ago. He is in his 70s, most of it was from the 60-70s when those African nations were still colonies. It’s legal for him to have. Some of it is older than that as his father did the same hunts
