Climate has a natural variation. If I recall, with in the next year or 2 we should start a cooling cycle. I certainly don't take scientists word as fact either, most are lining pockets (Michael Mann). Plus, look how the big sugar industry just got exposed, simple corruption that our sorry excuse for a government took. I don't believe CO2 is the driver of "AGW" I do believe sun cycles play a massive role if not the largest role in natural variability.

Recorded history is thousands of years (since writing was invented). Reliable historical weather data only goes back the the late 1800s.

But the high temperatures for the day have not been high?
Why is that? Probably because of the clouds and rain we witnessed that have kept humidity high.

What should CO2 levels be?
And, just for the record, CO2 is not a pollutant. It is a trace gas that is REQUIRED for life to exist as we know it on this planet. If anything, too little CO2 would be a much bigger, much more serious problem than too much.
CO2 is good for plants. It's what plants crave.

No, it is THE PROBLEM, and the reason why many people deny it. Companies are paying government officials to use taxpayer money to find a way for them to make money. Cold Earthers in the 80's broke most people's trust in these "findings". Calling it global warming brought back memories of the cold earthers and lo and behold it's another government funded project that found it. I believe there are steps we can take to lessen our carbon footprint and lessen the impact on the natural pendulum of climate changes, but many discredit the research because of the corrupt nature that brought the findings to light.

Man, those 170 years of weather records sure do tell the story on a 4.5 billion year planet.
It's getting warmer and it's never been hotter!!!! (Since 1846, that we know of)
ETA: I understand they drilled holes in the ice in Antarctica to come up with theories about what the weather was like 350 million years ago.

What is New Orleans now use to be under the ocean, and eventually will be in the future. That is the fact of the matter. We can't stop change on Earth. This isn't a static world. it is forever changing.
The climate we see today can't be kept in a bottle, it can't be locked in; just as the land masses will continue to move and evolve in time.
Man has and will always have to adapt to the changes to survive. It's crazy to think we can just keep the status quo and not deal with nature as it happens.

Interesting. You're probably right about deforestation and heat islands. So, why do you believe that other stuff and not in the greenhouse effect?
