Just look at how the robbery occurred.

quote:

On Oct. 19, robbers climbed a ladder at around 9:30 a.m. local time, broke a window, and stole jewels valued at more than $100 million.

I can 100% garuntee they have been told numerous times to update their security software and just didn’t want to change the budget for it.

Which is almost always how bad shite happens to any company. They don’t want to change something due to numerical reasons and then bad shite happens

Wonder if they changed it to Louvre123?

Is the question mark part of the password? Because you have to have a special character.

I'm guessing it's now "Louvre1$"...

The security systems worked. They went off immediately and guards responded to the room but they didn't enter after being threatened by the robbers. The robbers were only inside for 4 minutes, and the whole thing only took 8 minutes.

They may have outdated systems, but they went off.

At least the French are not sexist, that would be even worse than the current situation.

Great idea.
No one would have thought of something that obvious.

Part of the improvements need to be to place $100 million in jewels behind something more substantial than glass french doors.

Edit: maybe they just call them “doors” in France.

Experts claim that this theft was made possible, in part, due to prolonged technical neglect, which could have been easily avoided.

Investigators noted that robbery On October 19, 2025, a group of petty criminals carried out the heist. The thieves parked a stolen truck, used a furniture lift to reach the balcony, and entered the jewelry room. They escaped on scooters in less than seven minutes.

According to Paris prosecutor Laure Becquo, the profiles of the four people currently in custody, including the girlfriend of one of the suspected robbers, do not fit the typical characteristics of organized crime specialists capable of carrying out complex operations. Information about the attackers suggests that they are not professional robbers, but petty criminals from the poor northern suburbs of Paris.

The French media also make a similar assumption. In their opinion, the robbers acted like amateurs, because during their escape they left the most valuable jewels - the crown of Empress Eugenie made of gold, emeralds and diamonds, as well as tools, a glove and other items at the crime scene, and failed to set the truck on fire before fleeing.

The important thing here is that we have GirlBosses in charge of the Louvre and in charge of Security for the Louvre.

We don 't need no white man to tell us how to secure the Louvre. NOBODY was injured.

It's time to move on and allow the Girl Bosses to get back to work securing the Louvre. Password has already been changed to a four-digit number that will not be disclosed.
