"Roger" (wonder what his "deadname" is) needs help figuring out what makes someone a man.

Rog probably squealed with glee with queen Kentaji wouldn't answer what a woman was.

Right because you don't like the races have switched places.

3% commits most of the violent crime, and still have people pulling for them and pretending like they are the victim.

Its obvious that you have higher standards for whites than you do minorities which by definition is racist.

Over the past 70 years,.... but a peer-reviewed study published by Nature this week asserts that this perceived moral decay is just an illusion.
I to tally agree. In fact I distinctly remember (I was 4 years old) the headlines saying smash & grab was the latest great thing. I can remember another talking about the summer of love while cities burned in the back ground. .... I believe Mrs. Brown's cow kicked the lantern over and started it. They named the cow antifa.

"Morality" isnt collective, its personal.

A Judeo-Christian based collective sense of right and wrong once pervaded our country’s society, culture, ethos, ethics, and morality. It influenced and informed both collective morality and individual morality. It was equally constraining and influential no matter your race, ethnicity, religion, or lack of religion.

Open flaunting of this collective morality at the very least raised eyebrows with your peers or, if grossly egregious, it had harsher consequences. Loss of friends, disrespect of your community, maybe a loss of employment. There was built in accountability that didn’t require law and courts.

I’m talking in the most general terms here. Obviously where fallen and sinful humans struggle against their nature there’s hypocrisy and constant chafing at the prevailing moral consensus.

The OP to whom you were replying I believe was suggesting this general idea but on a larger scale like Western Civilization. He suggested also that the foundations and traditions of this once predominant and successful collective morality have been undermined and destroyed by systematic attacks from within and without.

Given this concept of collective/individual morality based on Judeo/Christian values, beliefs, and traditions-to say conclusively that all morality is individually subjective seems overstating and oversimplifying your argument.

BTW, I always enjoy reading your thoughts on these matters although I don’t always agree with them completely. Keep up the fight.

The inverse is also true: things that were previously considered highly moral, like spraying little black children with fire hoses

And slavery and essentially owning your wife.

But over the same period, there’s been no decline in positive answers to questions like “Were you treated with respect all day yesterday?”

What does this have to do with morality?

You don’t think that treating people disrespectfully is immoral?

I think individual morality with a given set of values that is institutional practices is a positive for society.

The values determine the morals and shared values lead to pervasive morals

We are just more fractured today and nationally don't share many common values anymore.

Yeah, it's so much better now that people get put in jail for not letting someone cut their kid's dick off.

It’s not an illusion. Even church attendance is down to 25% capacity in Europe and steady falling in the US.
