It's ok. I've been saving six pack holders.

Luckily I don't have any kids so that's not an issue for me, lol. Are you trying to imply that you think it would be wrong to do that if I did have kids?

Agreed, I hate that they are trying to ban or remove plastic straws when they have no good alternatives. Paper straws are trash almost the second they touch the drink and I personally do not "tasting" the straw.

At least wait until the paper straw product is not so pathetic.

Biodegradable straws are just as good as plastic straws and are cheap. No need to hoard plastic straws, honestly.

I have personally started to stock up on plastic straws before they are banned. I started about six months ago and whenever I'm at a fast food place I'll grab like 5 or 6.

Your methods are sketchy, but it's a good long term strategy nonetheless.

Went to a no plastic straw resort a while back - it was terrible. Drinking any frozen drinks out of a recycled paper straw is shite.

Had one at a fancy join in FLA on vacation last week, they actually work pretty well. So I’m not opposed to it if it gives free huggers one less thing to shame the human population for

Are they plastic? if so I've missed them so far. If they are paper then absolutely disagree, they are horrible and to me you taste the straw as much as the drink. No thanks.

It's hard to even tell the difference. I don't know why anyone uses paper straws.

well that’s just a dumb question. because right now more plastic straws are produced than biodegrade-able straws and they are also still widely available whereas biodegrade-able straws aren’t....at least to my knowledge

So I need to add straws to my prepper list?

Time to order a few Yeti straws I guess. Do they make the extra wide ones like would come with a daiquiri? I'm sure those will be bacteria magnets sitting in my center console for months

It is interesting as to why restaurants aren't just going to the biodegrade-able straws instead of the paper straws. They are better for the environment and have more of the functionality of a paper straw. Seems like a good compromise.
