The economy is on the same trajectory as under Obama. Steady growth, nothing special. And wages have not increased any faster so people don't have more spending power especially since inflation has been rising under trump.
He has managed to jack up the debt and deficit tremendously higher than the rate it was growing when Obama left office. Very impressive.

Oh wait, stock prices went higher due to all the corporate stock buybacks when trump started handing out free money. Money that will have to be paid back by individual tax payers through higher rates soon.

You are trying to say that as a physician you don't know the cost of your own services? I have friends that are ophthamologists and each of them knows exactly what an office visit costs, what an eye exam costs, a glaucoma screening costs.....visual field, etc.
Now if you are saying that you don't know the cost of the medication you are prescribing, I get it. If you are saying though that you don't know the reimbursement schedule, I get that too.
I'm sympathetic to you guys because y'all are the ones who are getting screwed with under the ACA, but you were getting screwed with under the regime pre-ACA.
Your biggest enemy is not necessarily the government but the insurance companies and their collusion with the government.....they frickin loved the individual mandate of the ACA. Also, the big hospital systems screw your patients big time as well

I was just telling my wife yesterday how sick and fricking tired I am working to pay for insurance and taxes. And after paying for the damn insurance, you have ridiculous co-pays and deductibles. Between the health, car, homeowners, life, and feds and state, not much left for daddy at the end of the month.
