Our vehicles have been parked on higher ground all day. We are gonna wade our way to that point and get out.

Yeah, that would be good. You might not be able to get into the neighborhood though. There's a section of Durmast Dr. at the entrance that only lifted trucks could trudge through at one point.

They are saying the current is prohibiting easy rescues at the Bellingrath Lakes area in Central.

Spent most of the day rescuing friends from bellingrath lakes. I think all houses are under water, although we stayed mostly in the front of the subdivision.

A neighbor told me Starkey, Zoar, and Bellingrath were shelters, but Starkey and Zoar are full.

Bellingrath Hills Elementary is closed now because it was soon going to be taking on water.

I didn't hear about central middle. They were using bellingrath elementary and it ended up flooded as well but o don't know where they were moved to. I think Zoar is open as well as the high school.

shite, Starkey would be ideal for these people. They live on Joor right there next to the Central daycare center.

This may not be far off....here's one of the comments on the video on Facebook:

"This lady was obviously impaired and had been driving back and forth down Elliott all morning, as the water rose. My uncle stopped her from coming one last time and she zoomed off, nearly hitting a truck. She recklessly put these men's lives in danger. She should be prosecuted."

She should be. Damn her for making others risk their lives while she's drunk and driving. And that poor puppy.
