At first I just had "Germany" then said, what a second, I better add "Road" to that.

I'm trying to track where we know the water is now in Ascension..obviously to St. Amant..but any more detail past that?

Yeah it looks like a poor man's TD.com but focused on weather. The mod posting these updates is throwing in a lot of opinion and commentary but trying to make it look authoritative. Misspelled words, anecdotes, rumors all thrown in. And all the commenters seem to treat the updates like gospel.

I just don't trust it. But I will be following news (TD.com posters) in the morning to see what's actually happening. I was hoping we'd have a gauge on things by now in AP but it appears we're definitely not out of the woods. I want to go home, power or not.

I'll actually vouch for gulfcoastwx being a pretty incredible place to follow at the very least, severe storms and hurricane events. They've got a few mets that frequent it.

How's everyone faring this evening?

Call it double trouble bc he was on the lake and close to Jefferson. Good to hear about the others staying dry though

I guess next we should look for any reports from 44 south of 621 to see if it's advancing and the next would be Airline hwy tonight,
