A roving band of electrical engineers cutting power to loot for robot materials seems plausible

Here's a good vid of a boat ride up Range Avenue from the interstate to Autozone yesterday for any of you from Denham Springs.

I don't know if it had a name yet, I had to google street view while water was rising to try and get a location if he needed to be rescued.
He has his place sandbagged and as of an hour ago it was holding.

Is there any validity to this?
No, of course not. I thought most would get the joke considering the down votes it got when someone brought the suggestion to the thread earlier.

Well if it's off McCrory there's only one new development. Water was dropping today. McCrory 1 is still half a lake but it's less than it was during the crest by 8-12 inches. It must be one of the homes in the back of Shadows of Manchac. They are the only homes built in the last couple of years. They were sandbagged yesterday and fine this afternoon.

Some men in a boat were going door to door to some houses in Santa Maria pretending to be sheriffs and telling them they needed to evacuate asap because "the Alligator Bayou levee" broke and Santa Maria was about to go completely under. They actually got some people to leave. Several residents called the sheriff's office who said no officers were here and that none of this was true and that the men were probably looters trying to get people to leave their homes. This was all confirmed by several residents.
So no, we didn't just get this from Fox News.
Needless to say it was a little alarming when the power went out as this was going down.

He keeps saying it doesn't make sense for that to be around 4 feet and everything else upriver to be much higher. But yeah that does look legit.

Good.
Hbt, it wasn't coming up fast. We were all just watching and waiting for the flow to stop or reverse.
The people who live back there are amazing. That whole neighborhood. I couldn't believe how much they all pitched in to help 2 girls they didn't know. To help everybody who came around. Sometimes I really love louisiana.
