That's what I want to know

Main lake holding steady in Fairhill at 5:00. I really think we dodged a bullet thanks to Alligator Bayou Road overtopping and diverting a lot of water to the east of us. That water was flowing from west to east from pics I saw which had to help UClub and Springlake.
Hate it for those impacted negatively due to this deal.
Spanish Lake Swamp is now my favorite body of water and every time I ride my motorcycle on Alligator Bayou Road from now on I will honk my horn in salute!
Thanks to all who provided insight and info.

Fountain is def starting to slowly fall, you can see water lines on the white pipe going over it at Burbank and Highland. Which is awesome news.

I drink a whiskey to Spanish Lake Swamp.
Hey, some of you earlier in the thread told me you'd like to treat me to some bourbon. I'd like to take you up on that offer when the waters recede - I'd love to expand my taste in Whiskey and some of you seemed quite knowledgable.

Me too. Any word on Dutchtown?

Water had receded about a foot maybe more an hour ago.
Streets still holding about two feet of water by Claycut Bayou.

I'd suggest a nice single barrel bourbon.

Four Roses Cask Strength is a solid pour for a reasonable price. I need some worrying about Manchac Rd and Alligator Bayou holding solid.

I would like to know where they heard this info about Dutchtown flooding

Water was up on the interstate by the AP line. Probably around 2 vertical feet from getting wet asphalt in some spots. Was up high in Maurepas Swamp by that canal. Blind River still had regular colored water, and everything else had muddy water. Conway Bayou looked like it had a few feet before it got to the road. Not concerning at all around 3pm. Across Airline on 22 had some water though
