I was at Millerville by the Chilis about an hour ago and the water was still quite high from there to Old Hammond. High clearance pickups we're going slowly through it with water to their running boards and Jon boats were still going in and out. Depending on your vehicle, you might get close to Florida.

Update: Bluebonnet btw Burbank and Highland still full of water and possibly very slowly rising.

I drove through at 11:00 and then a little while ago about 4:00. It didn't look to me like it had risen.

The water on O'Neal was flowing out extremely fast. It's starting to dry out.

The water is rising in the Lakes of St.Amant quite quickly. Water is pouring in from church point Drive through the pumping station. It has completely failed Oak Bend Drive in a matter of 30 minutes.

Reports that Dutchtown and Sorrento now need to be prepared to be under the gun.

Thats cool, its just my opinion. Even if it is, it is very slow and I believe short lived.

I just got an email from Juban's saying they are closing this evening due to a "parish mandated curfew in East Baton Rouge Parish". I'm not seeing this anywhere else. Is this a thing?

WAFB said there was a curfew from 8 pm tonight till 6 tomorrow morning.

Does anybody know the best way, or any way, to get from New Orleans to Central right now? My dad went down I-10 and exited 73 Prairieville/Geismer and now he doesn't know what to do.

FYI I drove down corporate/old Hammond from college drive to Sherwood, sherwood to south Harrell's ferry, south Harrell's ferry to O'Neal, then up to the Walmart. No standing water on that route. Walmart there still closed but a water damage restoration team is already at work.

It looks like the canal behind us that drains to Bayou Fountain is starting to fall. It is just up from the intersection of Highland and Bluebonnet
