appears to be playing just the tip with the backdoor of Pennsylvania and New York.
Texas and Louisiana are balls deep in on action though

Interesting forecast. Even Ark, Illinois, and Indiana are getting the shaft this weekend.

So roughly an inch of rain per day. Are the numbers on the map predictions? No way those are current numbers.

Lemme guess, they're going to start closing schools for tomorrow

NWS terms:
Marginal means prepare your anus
Slight means prayers sent
Likely means oh shite

I couldn't imagine anyone sleeping with you once, much less 5 times.

This was trying to get into donaldsonville just past the walmart around noon today. Never seen it flood down there that fast before. Almost every road was completely under water

Some have asked for Euro rainfall maps in the past, this is the 12z:
That maxed out area over BR is actually 16.7", it has 4" of that for BR today and tonight, so pretty much on schedule.

Couldn't tend to my yard last weekend, guess that isn't happening this weekend either

I will stick by what I said earlier. BR won't get near 10-15 inches of rain, unless
Nice cover.
We were looking into buying a camp in south Louisiana years ago. My father asked the seller if it ever flooded where it was located. Seller said "Only when it rains."

That's a scary graphic, surprised more people aren't participating in this thread

The 18z GFS continues the trend showing 22"+ for BR over the next 7 days. The 12z Euro EPS had a 7 day mean of 12" with a big cluster of members maxing out the scale at 20"

I can't ever remember such a consistent extreme rainfall single across so many models. The agreement is scary.

The next round is hitting BR right now.
