Mississippi River use to be around Highland Road and bent around Old Hammond Hwy. The river was pushed west but the water is simply following the path of least resistance similar to when the River was near this part of town. It's also why Dehnam is getting so much water.

Except water damage caused by flood stated in the document will be a SOL Clause. Looks to me.

Pretty much they cover things they would be at fault for. If their building or security failed in some way.

Very effed up. $2500 wouldn't have even began to cover anything in there but damn, anything would've helped. NOTHING seems like a bitch slap.

Their main switching office on Choctaw is underwater. They had to bring in equipment from out of state and it's set up in a mobile trailer.. They are victims just as much as the rest of us.

Well, I'll need the OT to give me all the pics they have of my college years, bc the print ones are gone.
Just kidding.
Just kidding.

As per scanner, this area is flooding. Backflow is definitely occurring. They are going to close Nicholson between Ben Hurr and Innovation.

This person also thinks the federal government "owes them" for damages because they didn't think they needed flood insurance

That still hasn't translated to any significant rises in my area this evening. Was a bit nervous earlier today but I'm about ready to call this house all clear. I haven't had the time (and really never thought I would need it) to fire up ArcView and look at things in more detail. We were able to pinpoint post Katrina flooding down to the block in New Orleans and we have much better data now.

I am about to go check out Burbank and Bluebonnet.

Sorry. Didn't mean to drama queen it up in here. I'm sad but as I listen to my three year old literally snore and occasionally fart on me, I'm reminded that I have everything I need.

I'm good
the pics from the OT vault aren't ones I want, anyway

You are right on the border, but should be OK.
