Lots of shite north of 42 in that area have water in houses. We're right down the street in Greystone and trying to figure out what to do.

The waters have gone west all the way to Sherwood. Some people that way are ok, but livingston is a shite show right now.

I am at the condo complex just south of highland on bluebonnet
100 yard walking distance to Bayou Fountain
Just went look at it
Looks like it has about 3-5 feet until overflow
I am hoping and praying the back flow doesn't make it this far, but I am about to start prepping just in case

Storm drains are backed up in that area though neighborhoods are taking on water. about 8 inches standing water and rising.

Looking for any info on Livingston rescues. Friends evacuated plantation trace area yesterday afternoon to Hebron church. Last message we received was at 3am saying they had to evacuate the church. No contact with them since 3am.

Regarding Bayou fountain near bluebonnet, has the gage quit responding or has it really remained the same at 13.7' since last night?

Here is the gage

Seems like it would be going up by now

Good to hear. My report of rooftops early this morning was from a distress post in the FB Louisiana Flood Rescue page.

WAFB just said Bayou Fountain & Manchac gauges are manually calculated, not automatic like others.

Any idea on the Target at Millerville? I heard Millerville at 12 was being used as a boat launch. Is that shopping center in water?

What neighborhoods and what storm drains are you talking about? Nothing like that is happening in Springlake/Fairhill or Summerwood, for example, as of a couple hours ago. You've been talking about that even before then, but you never say where!

Can't confirm the rate... I just saw it flowing backwards. And it is very high, over the high water mark.

Looking at the map, it appears to be an offshoot of jones creek. Near lake Sherwood.

Google the Starbucks on Sherwood and that's the area
