Finally got in touch with pregnnat friend. She is in those new houses off Anselmo right next to the creek. The ones you can see from Perkins.

Trying to decide if she should leave.

Can't get in touch with brother near Santa Maria.

Picked my grandparents up yesterday. They were in East River oaks (between old Hammond and Florida Blvd around O'Neal), he was pretty certain he'd have a foot or so in the house by now. Any reports out of that area?

Awful. My parents live in WOL on Creek Round and I am very concerned that they may actually get water in their house. It's built up, but this flood is far worse than 1983.

The only good news is they are both out of town.

"Many people with AT&T cell phones woke up Sunday morning to no cellular service. Outages were reported in several areas across metro Baton Rouge. There are customers with AT&T phones who still have service while others have none. In a recorded message, AT&T said it is experiencing "technical difficulties in the Baton Rouge area" and work is underway to resolve the problem. Emails sent by WAFB-TV to AT&T media contacts were not immediately returned."

That's pretty sad. It's not like their towers got knocked over.

At this point, I don't even have the time to figure out if my brother is safe where he is or not. I say just go.

Bayou Manchac Road in Prairieville near Tommy's Fish House. I'm thinking he should just leave no matter wht.

Again, if you have internet access, turn on Wifi Calling. They should be blasting that notice all over the news.

I just crawled out of bed to no service in the garden district. Glad to know I'm not alone.
