They live in the very back of the sub division on a pretty damn high plateau. Last night at about 10 water was up to their back fence which means it needed to rise vertically another 3 or 4 feet to get to their house. I'm just not sure what has happened between then and now.

I'm able to communicate with my friend in Robert as of a few minutes ago.

I live in Mallard Crossing. There's water in cross streets up to the sidewalks, looks like it's coming up from the sewer drains.
My friend said they were evacuating The Lakes sub-division down the road but like I said as of 10 they were OK.

I think we are okay, but I am seriously considering this.

People were supposed to be congregating at Tanger in Gonzales with boards as of last night. Try and go to the Louisiana Flood Rescue 2016 Group facebook page and post or call one of the numbers on there to get a better answer.

Here's a gauge farther downstream that is cresting soon/now which would at least suggest the crest has moved further down stream.

Coming from prairieville, is airline open to get to highland?

Not surprisingly, reports of water up to rooftops in Port Vincent already and people on the roof.

Should be. Use Waze while on the way.

Should we expect problems on Bluebonnet at Jefferson and Perkins? I read this last night and am wondering if it will happen later in day.

I'm in Santa Maria and the water has reached the streets where the front 9 and back 9's are. Had to get family out of there as we didn't want to be stuck bc that's the only way in and out of the neighborhood.
