Anyone around college near concord?

I'll be shocked if St Thomas More is in any danger. There's a low spot in the flood zone on the newer section of Goodwood a couple of blocks close to Flannery that will flood though.

Not currently, but went to my house around midnight to save the pets and I took Lee to Perkins. All was fine at the Perkins/College intersection. Gas station was closed, but they close for everything.
College seems to be okay.

I feel like I could be in a different state. Getting everything ready just in case. May feel like an idiot if nothing happens but not as bad if water comes fast.
Same here. Just jumped out of bed and packed up a huge bag of clothes and toiletries. Sherwood/Goodwood here. So far we are bone dry, but now I'm getting nervous and I'll be ready to turn off the power and get out of here in a few seconds if need be.

Any news on flooding around Juban, south of I12?

My parents live in Central off Lovett and they have never even close to flooded. They currently have 2 ft in their house. Will this area get any higher based on the back flow?

Mallard Crossing?
They are probably starting to see water creeping close.
I'll say this....I hope those fancy homes are insured. I suspect there will be flooding there as the crest moves south slowly from the Denham area.

We live in Juban Parc off Brown and we are still okay. We are receiving updates from our neighbors.
Also the elementary school behind Juban Parc is being used by the national guard.

Prayers sent.
I don't think it will get much higher there but please don't take my word for it. Evacuate if you can. The weather can always exacerbate this back flow situation.

I just got back into Baton Rouge from Texas and am trying to catch up. Any idea how the Batou Fountain backflow will affect Bluebonnet Highlands with it being interconnected to the ponds and ditches at the part of the neighborhood that runs parallel to Burbank and the parts that back up to the soccer fields? Thanks.
