I just drove to chik fil a and probably saw 7 golf carts in under a mile. The people riding them are acting like they own the damn road and damn it, I want to attribute it to annoying tourists but I just don't know anymore.

Retirement/beach town in Georgia. I understand in part why it's more prone to my area for those reasons but 10 years ago, this was not acceptable here.

No one gives a flying frick.

Contact your local police department about the legality about it or the local government/city council.

And go back to the SEC Rant. frick

There are some communities that allow those on the roads.

Sit on the horn till they move over. Roll down the widow and ask, "Do you mind if I play through?"

It's not the legality of it that's the issue. I'm sure it's fine from a legal standpoint. The issue is these people who are most likely visting in one capacity or another feel perfectly ok making all the residents fricking miserable. And it'd be one thing if they were using them close to the beach but that's not the case.

I just hate seeing 7 year olds whizzing around neighborhoods in them.

I highly doubt it unless they are insured and registered with proper licensure.

The Villages has golf cart lanes, parking spots, their own garages... People have their regular car and a "golf cart" that is tricked out and can't even carry golf clubs. Some look like hummers, have rims, or old time-y cars... I've never seen anything like it.

I agree, they are becoming a serious problem.

Just got back from Sandestin and I swear there are more golf carts than cars there.
