This is the worst toy including the commercial.
Its the Hovercraft and the reason I am posting it because I remember seeing the commercial thinking it was awesome. It could go over land and water. In the commercial it looked like it fast and I just thought it was bad arse.

But in reality it was a piece of shite. It was slow and after a few days the part that inflated when you turned it on tore.

If I recall, the Christmas I got it, it had been raining so I put it on the sidewalk so I could hit the lower areas that had some water in it.
It was just made cheap.

Theantiquetiger, you should see what has become of Rock 'Em - Sock 'Em Robots. My wife just ordered it for our grandkids to play, and the toy has shrunk by at least 50%. Also, the fighting action is not as good as it used to be either. Sadly, this toy is a mere shell of what it used to be.

I had the canteen aircraft carrier.
I also had a few of the Mega Force toys.
A lot of the stuff we played with back in the day were from companies (e.g., Galoob, Kenner) that were eventually bought by Hasbro. Crazy.

I got one of these for Christmas and was obsessed with it.
I made my own league, kept stats, had house rules, and everything. Looking back, it sucked, but I loved it.
