Americans really have no idea what the hell the metric system is.
I'm American, and I know that 10 meters is a whole lot deeper than a few inches.

Egypt has no interest in researching the pyramids, which begs the questions... Why?
Because last time Americans went snooping there they raised up a cursed mummy who raised the army of Anubis and put the world in danger

They might be scared that it could come out that they didnt build them. That they might be from a much older civilization. Supposedly the sphynx is much older than the pyramids.
Im not saying I believe that but thats a rumor and a possibility. Best way to keep that information from being investigated is to not allow anyone to look into it.
Lots of archeologists (and other scientists) want to believe what they say is the absolute truth, but its not always the case. A few hundred years ago people though it was impossible to fly or split the atom.
We dont really know as much as we think we do.

Meters are easy. All you need to know is a meter is roughly equal to a yard plus the laces of a football which is about 3 feet 3 inches.

This could easily be confirmed or debunked with oil&gas geophysical technology, they can map a rats arse at 15k' feet deep.

I have a problem with “peer reviewed.” These “peers” have a living based on the status quo and generally benign beliefs. They do NOT like to admit they’ve wrongly believed their suppositions over their careers because their validity and their credence would be diminished. They will not rock the boat and risk losing their income.

That sounds too complicated.
I'm an engineer. I've worked with the metric system long enough, it is like a 2nd language to me. I don't have to translate into Imperial units in my head.

I'd like to hear Hawass's opinion on the subject.

Even if there isn't anything underneath it, I'm still very curious on how they were built. If you do any research, you will find out the weight of some of the stones used and realize that we couldn't move any of those stones today even with some fancy machinery, which wasn't around when the pyramids were built, so how in the hell were they built by farmers at the time, and why didn't anyone keep the truth of how they were built through history's timeline?
I'm starting to believe earth had a far superior civilization than today. Maybe there was another meteor after the dinosaurs that wiped out the majority of earth's population.

Have they?

If you believe this, it means that you haven’t done any research.

I think you mean "pier" reviewed.
