Since when did Gatorade become a regular refreshment instead of a sports drink to be consumed following exercise or other strenuous activity? I just don't understand parents who let their kid swill Gatorade when it looks like the kid hasn't broken a sweat within the last month. Maybe the 32oz Gatorade really brings out the taste of the candy the kid is eating. Scooter manufacturers are bound to see a huge spike in demand in about 30 years as these budding diabetics age.

Yea I'm sure it's the Gatorade not everything else they're eating.

They could be doing these after practice, so Gatorade isn't bad comparatively speaking

Why does it matter? Gatorade is delicious at any time. Especially when you're sick or hungover.

Around the same time blue Powerade started showing up at fountain soda dispensers.

No much different than soda. I wonder about the effects of the energy drinks. It can't be good if ten year olds are pounding those drinks. I would have died in high school mixing Red Bull/Monster/Rockstar and vodka if those things had been around.

Gatorade is a sports drink?

Regardless I don't give any sports drinks to my kids.

It's slightly healthier than the cokes they could be drinking, so I don't see what the issue is here.

I drink Gatorade every single day.

Especially when I get done playing a baseball game......

On MLB the Show 16.

Nothing better than the Frost combo-pack from Amazon. I even have a Gatorade Dash button.

Yeah, I drink Gatorade a lot because I'm hungover almost daily.

Like fruit juice, it has the guise of being a healthy alternative to coke. In reality it has a high level of sugar, and nearly an identical number of calories.
