The fact that "cuckolding" is a thing is blowing my mind

I've heard about this shite in the past, but never gave it a second thought. Somehow, I stumbled on the Subreddit r/cuckold.
Jesus.
These dudes seriously get off on having their "girlfriends/wives" getting fricked by other dudes, a lot of times not while they are watching, but just going out and doing it. Some of their girls have long term relationships with other dudes. They frick the other dudes and NOT their husbands in some cases, and tell their husbands how much bigger the other dude is, how much of an alpha they are etc.
And these betas get off on it.
Often, the girls apparently take pictures and send them to the guy while the guy is out of town or something. And a lot of times its BBC.
Is it wrong of me to judge and feel completely sorry for these guys? They act like they want this, when in reality, their girl is using them for emotional support or money and they are just straight up cheating and fricking other dudes.
I just get more sad the more I read this stuff.
