That is an odd collection of songs to lump together

But "Let it Be" and "Yesterday" are brilliant.

Maybe you are just more of a Lennon fan than McCartney.

The Beatles... Brian Epstein?
Without a doubt this was the beginning of the end of The Beatles

Personal opinion: Rubber Soul and Revolver are the greatest albums ever made. Much better than Pepper.

I have a framed pic of the mayor proclaiming Beatles Day in New Orleans that was passed out before their concert somewhere. It was a Christmas present from my sister.

I am not a huge Beetles fan outside of a few songs but I recognize the impact they have had on all of music. It's crazy to think they did it all in 10 years.

Lennon and McCartney are arguably the greatest songwriting duo in history ahead of the likes of Elton John and Bernie Taupin or Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, etc

In 1970, Harrison was releasing My Sweet Lord

Paul (with the Wings) released Band on the Run in 1973, which was essentially a continuation of the Beatles style

And John, other than Imagine (1971), was doing... whatever the frick he was doing with Yoko.

And there was Ringo

When John was asked if Ringo was one of the best drummers in the world John answered "he's not even the best drummer in the Beatles"

You mean completely shifting the landscape of popular music world-wide?

You can't deny The Beatles influence on modern pop/rock but they probably would not have been as big or influential if not for George Martin who created / produced their sound.

The Beatles were big fans of Buck Owens and did a cover of act naturally with Ringo singing. Both Ringo and Buck did a music video in 1989.
Act Naturally

John Lennon said that Hank Sr. Was one of his influences. Ringo was influenced by Hank Sr., Buck Owens, Hank Snow and Gene Autry. George Harrison was influenced by Chuck Berry, Chet Atkins, Carl Perkins and Buddy Holly. Paul was influenced by Elvis, Holly, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Carl Perkins.

Plastic Ono Band (1970) is actually a better Lennon album than Imagine, but both are great

so fricking overrated.

I get their significance relative to their place in music history, but their music wasn't that great.
