You can't even buy booze in Bibb County.

I reckon they just go to Tuscaloosa, though.

I don't know if I'd call it the nicest, but it's certainly near the top. HSV-Madison metro, certain Birmingham suburbs, and Baldwin County are all better IMO. Probably the Shoals too.

Nope. I'd rather live in Fairhope, Daphne, or Gulf Shores over anywhere in Lee County.

Fairhope, Daphne, or Gulf Shores

one is not like the others, Gulf Shores has become the trashiest, most meth infested, cheesy, and disgusting places on the Gulf coast, it's the Carnival Cruise Lines of beach towns, I have to go there ever so often for business reasons, can't make the trip short enough, get in, do what I have to do, GTFO, and take about an hour long shower, Daphne and Fairhope seem nice, but are still in Al, so yeah, that's a no for me dawg

I haven't been in years, so I'll take your word for it.

Just give me Ono Island.

Binge drinking is defined as having more than four drinks on one occasion for women and more than five for men

Define “occasion.” Is it a meal? A night out? A tailgate that starts at 10am and goes to 7pm? A day at the beach?

I lived in Birmingham for a while. They are either surveying the wrong people or other states are drinking a lot heavier than you would think. Those people packed away alcohol, starting during the work day.

15 drinks per week? I guess 95% of the people I know are heavy drinkers.

Nothing like a good warm drink when you're freezing your nuts off.

I’ve seen heavier drinkers passed out in the quad.

Not much else to do up there. It’s why Russia is made up of alcoholics and vodka is sold in pull tab bottles because both the bottle and purchaser are to be drunk in one sitting.
