Let me get this straight. You live in LA and you are complaining about schools in the DFW suburbs. Wow. You lost all credibility.
The bad high schools around here offer more than the best schools in LA.

Obviously the schools are better than Louisiana’s but why say dumb shite like that? The average Texas high school does not compare to the public high school I attended in Louisiana.

I didn't say the average Texas high school. I said the bad high schools around here. I was referring to the Frisco, Prosper, Allen and McKinney area. I bet their average SAT/ACT scores are on par with some of LA's best high schools.

He didn't say average Texas schools.... Poster saying he lived in the nicer DFW burbs with A+ school rating and they were not as good as Louisiana public schools

Great schools? Sure - on paper. What they are 'learning' in class will have a nice label on it and be completely full of shite (ex. top school district's grade school level gifted program "robotics" class used only cardboard boxes and make believe, I shite you not). Science was WAY behind. Math was on par once in middle school, seriously behind in grade school. Reading/spelling was something you completely taught your kids at home because there was no learning at school. Social Studies was neutered to nothing but Texas, from pre-K to 8th grade.

Believe what you want.
I love LA and miss family, food, and LSU, but raising a family where I live offers so many more opportunities and advantages.

Pretty sure both Denton and Collin county will be voting for democrats this fall if their trends since 2004 continue.

The frick? Last I knew he was in Preston Hollow.
I live in Southlake and it is very expensive. Mainly due to Carroll ISD being very strong. Westlake is even more expensive and that area is seeing huge growth to. I am out of Carroll ISD in twelve years when my kids are done with HS.
I wouldn’t move here in 2024. I am priced into my house and have a good location for work. No way could I afford my house on the open market now. Nice places father out in say Argyle or Flower Mound are still super expensive.

Cannot speak for Denton, but Collin will not

Check out these stats:
According to Niche.com the worse HS in Frisco is Memorial HS. It has a grade of A- with an average ACT score of 27.
The same site list Erath HS as the best public high school in the Lafayette area which also has a grade of A- and an average ACT score of 24.
The best Magnent school in Lafayette has an A rating and the same average ACT score (27) as Memorial HS in Frisco.
Baton Rouge is even worse. Best public HS has a C+ with an average ACT score of 22. Its best Magnet school has an A+ rating and an average ACT score of 27. Once again the same as our worse school..

Uhhh, No. I’ll skip my own example and just discuss my nephew who, combined with his wife, make over $1.2 million per year in St George, LA.

Dallas was great but I still give the edge to Atlanta. But, if I had to move from Atlanta and could pick any place to live outside of Florida, it would be Dallas.
Trees and a little bit of topography can do wonders for an otherwise bland sprawling modern metro area.
