I know you all love you some Rekieta Law.
But I am listening to him discuss the proffer of evidence. He and whoever the grey haired guy is barely understand this part of the trial. And I am being generous.

I’m not sure what kind of lawyers those guys are, but one thing I’ve learned is that there are so many aspects to law and different kinds of lawyers. I have a friend who’s a lawyer and I asked him about some things with this case and he was like “I have no idea”
. It was like asking a PCP about brain surgery

I had a few things I had to accomplish while the young lady was supposed to destroy the sister's staircase testimony. I was unable to hear it. Did she stomp?

Judge's post came as Nick was looking up the Virginia statute on proffering for civil cases
all he was finding was stuff for criminal cases

I’m sure this has been answered before but why do they record all of their conversations? Or did they start whenever things started going south? It just seems odd that they have so many recordings of themselves.

it sounds like they would record their arguments and bring the recordings to their therapist to MMQB their situations
that said... other recordings seem to have more nefarious reasons

The grey haired guy was saying this was repetitive, and that the “objections” were a back door effort to sway the judge on jury charges.
That’s just dumb.
If you offer evidence that the judge refuses to admit, you have to “proffer” the evidence so the appellate court can know what it was. The proffer almost always happens near the end of civil trials. That’s what they were doing.

Jennifer Howell's statement has been entered into evidence and will be available to the jury during deliberations - read her declaration

Not to her.
And generally you can’t get in prior consistent statements.

Although his RS story covering the Roxanne Pulitzer trial came pretty close.
