The least shocking thing to come out lately is TMZ being a sleazy "media" organization that pays for its scoops (like the Depp breaking cabinets video)
Also... That Umbrella Guy (the YouTuber constantly referenced by the defense yesterday) was on with Good Lawgic (a LawTuber) last night and he said Depp's team tried to offer the police body cam footage that is in court record already to TMZ back then but TMZ had no interest in it
As someone who used to work in the news biz... that's red flag upon red flag there
ETA: but any media org in this country would fight to keep an employee (or ex employee in this case) from being called to testify about where they got their sources & materials... so that emergency filing was expected
