here comes Rottenborn
which means it's likely the last voice the jury hears before going back to deliberate... Elaine Bredehoft's
that would make me vote for Depp the second we stepped back into the jury room

It’s common around here for the parties to alternate paying for takeout, but not tell the jury who is paying. We’ve used Jason’s Deli (the cheap side) to pretty good Italian takeout. I would imagine the jury in this case could get something good.
I'd be for some Firehouse Subs... or some nice Italian food

what kind of food do courts provide to jurors?
They can get some empanadas from Ernesto. He's got a food truck right outside the courthouse. Best empanadas in town.

Rottenborn going with the "ignore the evidence and listen to this technical argument" tactic... which might be the best 1
Posted on 5/27/22 at 10:24 am to rt3
And 1st amendment protection!!! How absurd!!!!
Posted on 5/27/22 at 10:24 am to rt3
So we are going with a 1st amendment approach, not an evidentiary based approach?
Seems to be rather bold but with the shite sandwich of a case he has, its probably a better tact than the alternative.

she added a comment to the retweet... that's added content
and retweeting it sends it to an audience that may not get the Washington Post
that's a terrible argument

Everything that AH's does they are blaming that Depp does...
This is less than impressive.

texts to 3rd parties are so inconsequential

I think the delivery here is better than Camille's, but not the content. Camille read so much and I just didn't feel a lot of emotion listening to her due to the reading. I'm surprised.
Chew was better.

I wonder if the jury gets immune to seeing these videos after a while.

That video of Depp smashing the cabinets is so strange to me because it basically shows Amber is about to put on a performance. The entire interaction seems so disingenuous from the get-go.

it shows me she's not scared of him... even when he's angry

What makes it so weird to me is that she is doing this like a hidden camera and there is no reason why to do so unless you want it to leak it somewhere..

One of the really telling things from that was the TMZ guy pointing out the unedited version showed Amber smirking. Because that was the kind of thing a manipulative person does after they provoke someone. Whereas an abused person would be likely to be afraid, stressed, etc at that time
