I do. You don't reform people like this.

How long did the MansonGirls serve? Influences in your life should have no bearing on leniency.

Zero reason our system should be going back over this crap.

Other than supreme court case law dictating life without parole is unconstitutional for juveniles. This shite applies equally or not at all.

shite, Malvo is almost 35.

We need to make sure he doesn't turn 36 in prison. What happened to him is unjust.

I'll donate the bullets to right this wrong.

Let him loose in the Redskins stadium and tell him if he makes it to the other end he can go free. Then let the people of DC take potshots at him.

Better serpentine it.

Ok, fine.

"We re-sentence you. 99 years for each murder. Not to be served concurrently, but rather consecutively. Eligible for parole after 80% of your sentence. Have a nice day."

Someone hasn’t taken care of this guy in prison yet? I am disappoint.

That dude's in a supermax. He has almost zero interaction with live humans.

He also doesn't have dirt on the Clintons, so there's that.

Yes. I disagree with that ruling. This is America. I can still disagree with things correct?

THerefore, zero reason this is being debated IMO. Happy?

If only your dissent preempted federal case law, then there would be grounds for 0 debate. Since that isn't reality, here we are.

They were in Baton Rouge prior to going to DC.

"Lee Boyd Malvo admitted to detectives he shot a Hammond man in 2002."

They killed a woman leaving a hair salon in Baton Rouge before heading to DC.

quote:

Capitol Hill (CNSNews.com) - Authorities in Louisiana, Thursday linked the two sniper suspects currently awaiting trial for 13 shootings, including 10 murders in the Washington, D.C., area to a murder in their state. "The Baton Rouge Police Department today issued warrants for the arrest of John Allen Muhammad, 41, and John Lee Malvo, 17, for first-degree murder in connection with the robbery and shooting death of Hong Im Ballenger, 45," Police Chief Pat Englade announced at a press conference shortly after 5 p.m. (EST).

From the following link is an entire list of their shootings that lists "17 deaths and 10 injuries".

Yeah I know.

Cases have been being heard by states and other for a bit now I believe.

A&E had a solid series on 8 cases. Kids behind bars, life or parole I think. Couple got lesser time for killing.

I just cannot agree with that. But that's how America works.

Of course you’re ok with him getting out. Will you also invite him to live with you? He’ll have trouble finding housing, being a convicted serial killer and all.

Exactly. They just pick and choose when it's appropriate.

He needs to go to genpop. That’s real prison. Hell there’s times I think I could go for a few weeks in super max just to chill and catch up on some sleep and reading.

Malvo deserves to rot in jail for the rest of his life. Did his victims receive any leniency? He knew exactly what the frick he was doing, by hiding in the trunk of a car and randomly shooting and killing people.

Sure, but 17 ain't a child. He was waaay more than old enough to know what he was doing and how horribly wrong it was.

This is desperate, and I hope his original sentence holds.

Four years later, the top court applied that rule retroactively in Montgomery v. Louisiana.

bullshite case too. 17 year old knows what he's doing when he kills a cop.

I worked out at the Y (in Ashland VA) the night these two came in and paid their $5 to use the gym / locker room.

Then a day or two later this guy gets shot at the Ponderosa.

I lived across the street from the mayor and Sullivan was our parish priest at St Ann's.

Yes, everyone was on edge. TV's played the news 24/7 for any updates at work and at home.

Here's some background:

Those damn white serial killers.

One of their victims was killed at the Home Depot a couple of blocks from where I used to live in NOVA. I definitely fit their desired profile of "some white guy," so it really could have been me. I do think about that sometimes.

Here's a long list of black serial killers, in case some actifag throws the "white serial killers" line at you.
