The Bama board had a huge thread on it and there were a lot of posters that said if students don't get the shot they should lose there scholarship and be banned from the campus. Many of those queers will be posting in the basketball game thread today. Clowns

We didn't rush a vaccine. We rushed a therapeutic under the guise of a vaccine, because vaccines were trusted medicine. Even redefined what a vaccine was to give it credibility.

This kind of manipulation led to the distrust of the legitimate vaccines. It's an unfortunate affect on the health and welfare of Americans, but you'd be a fool not to understand why that is.

Most Americans rightly lost faith in institutions, and its the fault of our own governments.

We always knew they lied, but never thought it would be this blatant.

It's not being medical. It's called common sense.

Covid exposed humanity for what we really are. Greedy, weak, manipulative, dishonest, and self-absorbed, It shattered the illusion of stability that most people here had never seen challenged. The government's response was mostly illogical, and a lot of people used it to get rich, but I still don’t understand how many don’t think Covid itself was a serious from a health perspective. 3 people in my immediate family were hospitalized, I also know a couple of otherwise healthy people in their 50s who died. Hit me like a ton of bricks but no long lasting effects.

Rushing the vaccine was the right call at the time. It was the only was to get off square one.

Never mind that any sane individual would certainly know they had been exposed countless times by then. If it was THAT contagious (I think it was) you already had it. If it wasn't, no need to panic.

Yes. Over and over again, we hear Democrats and media talking about how fascist Donald Trump is. But who was imposing mandatory lockdowns and mandatory vaxxxines for federal employees? The Democrats.. that's who. They are exactly what they accuse Trump of being. That is who they are.

First page responses are on point. I've lost respect for most people, 'smart' professions, institutions. I have so many personal anecdotes of crazy I could share.

Millions dead.

Millions of children permanently scarred.

Tens of thousands of businesses permanently closed.

Trillions of dollars laundered.

Small price to pay to keep the Bad Orange Man from a second term.

One of the craziest outcomes was the open politicization of the CDC. They first were against masks then the left latched on and they brought in that bitch that cried on tv all the time to lead the CDC and all the sudden it was gospel. Blew my mind as I'd been in public health for 10 years at that point, none of it made sense to me or anyone I worked with.

I'll settle this for you, since you're kind of an idiot. The United States is the only country in the world with a true free speech policy. Every other country has an asterisk, bullet point or sub rule that allows them to prosecute their citizens.

For example the UK:
"everyone has the right to freedom of expression"

But then later:

“may be subject to formalities, conditions, restrictions or penalties as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society."

That's just one example. So yeah, you're the worst kind of idiot. The kind that believes they are correct.

Its easy to sit back and say it was dumb (and it was, what got me is that I thought we would be on "lockdown" for two or three weeks and then shite would go back to normal, but then when it got to where there was no specific time given and everything was being cancelled that was a bitch), but between the lack of information coming out of China, the fact it was an election year, etc it became a big cluster frick.

I hope something comes out of it. I don't know, maybe if there is ever another pandemic there is a long list of things not to do, but one thing I will never forget.. That first weekend we were on "lockdown", one of my friends who works in a plant wasn't able to leave for the whole weekend or something. Anyway, he ended up watching the Tiger King at work.. It was that Saturday and Sunday morning he texted me and a few other people and was like "Go watch Tiger King on netflix, its the wildest shite ever". That Sunday I started watching and it was blowing my mind. All this crazy shite going on by that night it was all over social media.

That show probably wouldn't have had half the views it did if it was for the pandemic, but it was a crazy time.

That's why, if our government tries that oppression again, everyone needs to refuse to comply. They don't own us. They work for us. They are our employees.

Don’t even bother.

The level of ignorance he is showing can’t be fixed.

It was easy to say at the time, and I say that as someone who lost a dear family member to it.

I believe you were vocal in your disagreement with those of us who were anti everything to do with it.

Not sure what was more dumb.... walking to your table with your mask on, then taking your mask off when you sat down, as if that was just as safe.

Or the riots.

Or the plastic dividers.

Ok yeah, the whole thing. Just a massive deception.

But it was a progressive wet dream all around. They got to tell people what to do. They got to impose overly complicated government restrictions on anyone. They got division. They got easily identifiable "enemies," but then they were allowed to circumvent those laws for "social change." They got to pick winners all the time. Progressive people loved covid. Loved it. And hope for it again.

It was the biggest wealth transfer of all time. Never forget that part.
